Business Development Manager (BDM)

This pivotal role is suited to a sales professional who thrives on building meaningful partnerships and driving strategies that shape the future of the interiors landscape. If you are results-driven, commercially minded, and passionate about design, we want to hear from you.


The Role

As our BDM, you will identify and develop new commercial opportunities across trade, wholesale, and large-scale residential and commercial projects. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will collaborate closely with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions for a diverse client base.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to expand our B2B wholesale and trade client base.
  • Lead Generation Identify and secure new business opportunities with retailers (online and brick-and-mortar), property stylists, interior designers, architects, and developers.
  • Relationship Management Build lasting partnerships with key stakeholders while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Buying and Marketing teams to align product direction with market trends and refine sales strategies.
  • Market Presence Represent the brand at industry events, networking functions, and showroom presentations to generate high-quality leads.
  • Territory Management Manage your schedule between our Sydney Head Office and regular client visits across NSW and interstate when required.
  • Interstate Travel Undertake quarterly interstate travel for client visits and business development.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience Minimum 3–4 years’ proven success in business development or sales within furniture, interiors, or design-led wholesale sectors.
  • Industry Expertise Experience in wholesale/B2B furniture sales is essential.
  • Communication Polished, credible communicator with strong negotiation skills and professional presence.
  • Commercial Acumen Strong understanding of the B2B furniture landscape, procurement processes, and sales targets.
  • Technical Proficiency Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attributes Self-motivated, results-focused, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements Valid driver’s licence, willingness to travel, and Australian work rights.

Sales Consultant

Furniture, Lighting & Homewares (Wholesale B2B)

Are you passionate about interiors and love helping clients bring their design visions to life, both in person and online?

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Wetherill Park team. This hybrid role combines in-showroom service with online support, offering a dynamic opportunity to connect with clients across multiple channels.


The Role

As a Showroom Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our brand in the showroom and a key contact for online customers. You will guide clients through product selections, offer tailored solutions, and help bring projects to life. You will also support virtual consultations, live chat and remote site visits, while contributing to sales growth through client engagement and account onboarding.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist clients in the showroom and via online channels (video calls, live chat, email)

  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable furniture, lighting and décor solutions

  • Build strong relationships with trade clients, stylists and homeowners

  • Support onboarding of new accounts and follow up on leads

  • Conduct site visits when required to assist with project planning and product selection

  • Maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge

  • Work towards monthly sales targets and KPIs, including:

    • Conversion rates

    • Average order value

    • New account acquisition

    • Customer satisfaction and retention



What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in wholesale, retail or showroom sales, ideally within furniture, interiors or homewares

  • 1–2 years’ experience in furniture/interiors/homewares sales preferred

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

  • Passion for interiors and helping clients find the right solutions

  • Results-driven mindset balancing client needs with commercial outcomes

  • Confiden communicator and proactive problem solver

  • Comfortable conducting virtual consultations and supporting online customers

  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management

  • Shopify experience is advantageous

  • Self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn

  • Flexible and responsive to client needs, including occasional offsite visits

  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
